We are on the hunt for a Assistant Manager to join our Korean Cowgirl Restaurant team. Our Korean Cowgirl Restaurant is atmospheric and inviting, where your plates will be filled with Korean style dishes. From sticky spare rib stacks to honey butter fried chicken wings, not forgetting our incredible USDA smoked beef brisket with a Texas rub. Duties and responsibilities: Support the Restaurant Manager with the running of the restaurant and decking area. Respond efficiently and accurately to customer complaints when required. Daily updates / comms with line manager Follow company H&S procedures. Add cases to Riskproof when necessary. Organize and plan rotas on fourth in absence of Restaurant Manager. Support the Restaurant Manager in handling staff issues in line with company policies and procedures / managing holiday requests / absences / performance management / employee relations. Assist in motivating and training the team. Work alongside line manager to manage and maintain restaurants good image and suggest ways to improve it. Cash handling - cashing up / restocking change bag Manage all F&B and day-to-day operations in absence of Restaurant Manager ( Plan the evening ahead, daily briefings with staff, control covering of shifts in absences) Provide Operational support where needed, to include all aspects of serving and bar. Work alongside other HODs and support where needed. Create a positive work environment. Ensuring compliance with licencing, hygiene and H&S Strong communication with kitchen passing on all comms to FOH team Ensure and encourage staff to work well to good time management providing exceptional service at all times Attend Ops and Function meetings and check KCG event sheets to thoroughly understand requirements of events. Oversee all aspects of Event setup where required. Coordinate with internal departments (ie Kitchen, Sales, F&B) to ensure seamless execution of event timelines and schedules. Conduct post event debriefings to identify areas for improvement to enhance future events. The above description is not to be regarded as exhaustive.
