We are seeking an experienced and motivated Assistant Restaurant Manager to join our opening team and play a key role in the successful launch and ongoing operations of this exciting new restaurant. This is a fantastic opportunity to become part of a dynamic and passionate leadership team within one of Londons most anticipated openings.
About the Role As Assistant Restaurant Manager, you will support the Restaurant General Manager in overseeing daily front-of-house operations, ensuring that every guest enjoys an exceptional dining experience reflective of both The Langhams heritage and Sale e Pepes iconic reputation. You will help lead, train, and motivate the team, uphold service standards, and contribute to achieving financial and operational goals.
Key Responsibilities Support the Restaurant General Manager in all aspects of daily operations

Lead and inspire the front-of-house team to deliver warm, professional, and attentive service

Maintain a strong floor presence to ensure smooth service and guest satisfaction

Assist with recruitment, onboarding, and training of team members

Oversee reservations, guest relations, and service recovery where required

Collaborate with the kitchen and bar teams to ensure seamless communication and workflow

Monitor performance metrics and support in achieving sales and profitability targets

Uphold brand standards, health and safety regulations, and company policies

Contribute to the development of a positive, inclusive, and high-performing team culture

Requirements Previous experience as an Assistant Restaurant Manager or Supervisor in a premium or high-volume restaurant

Strong leadership and communication skills

A passion for delivering exceptional guest experiences

Excellent organisational and problem-solving abilities

A collaborative and hands-on approach to management

Financial awareness and familiarity with budgets, costs, and targets

Flexibility to work varied shifts including weekends and evenings

Proof of right to work / pre-settled or settled status in the UK
