Assistant Quantity Surveyor – Major Construction Project – Cardiff
An exciting opportunity has arisen for an Assistant Quantity Surveyor to join a leading, award-winning construction company on a landmark project based in Cardiff.
This role offers the chance to be part of a high-performing commercial team delivering a significant construction scheme in the region. Working closely with experienced professionals, you’ll play a key role in supporting the financial and commercial management of the project from start to finish.
Key Responsibilities:

Assist in the preparation and management of project budgets and cost plans
*
Support procurement, valuation, and payment processes
*
Work with subcontractors and suppliers to ensure value for money
*
Help maintain accurate records and reporting for commercial performance
*
Contribute to risk management and cost control procedures
What We’re Looking For:
*
Relevant experience within a Quantity Surveying or commercial support role
*
A degree or HNC in Quantity Surveying or related discipline (or working towards)
*
Strong numeracy and analytical skills
*
Excellent communication and organisational abilities
*
A proactive, positive attitude with a willingness to learn and grow
