Assistant Quantity Surveyor (M&E)

Department: Commercial

Reports To: Senior Quantity Surveyor

Location: Office-Based (with site visits)

Working Hours: Monday–Friday, 8:00am–5:00pm


About the Role

We are seeking a motivated Assistant Quantity Surveyor (M&E) to join our Commercial team and support the successful delivery of multiple Mechanical, Electrical and Public Health (MEP) projects.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to build a long-term career in quantity surveying within an M&E contracting environment. You will gain hands-on experience across procurement, cost control, valuations, and commercial administration, working closely with an experienced Senior Quantity Surveyor.


Job Purpose

To support the Senior Quantity Surveyor in the effective commercial and cost management of multiple MEP subcontract projects, while developing core quantity surveying and commercial management skills.

Experience & Qualifications

Minimum 1 year experience in construction or M&E contracting

  • Strong numerical and analytical skills
  • Good understanding of Microsoft Excel
  • Clear written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong organisational skills and ability to manage multiple tasks
  • Basic understanding of M&E installations (mechanical/electrical)


Package & Benefits

  • Salary: £50,000 – £55,000

Working Conditions
