We're working with a well-established, financially secure contractor-part of a wider group with a turnover in excess of £1bn-to recruit an Assistant Quantity Surveyor into their Special Projects division. This team is known for delivering complex, fast-paced schemes across a range of sectors.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone who wants to move beyond a purely support role and gain real commercial ownership, working closely with experienced senior leaders.
About the Role
You will report directly into a Senior Quantity Surveyor and Commercial Manager, supporting the commercial delivery of multiple projects simultaneously.
Projects typically include:
Large-scale distribution and logistics centres Education refurbishments and new build schemes MOD (Ministry of Defence) projects A mix of fit-out, refurbishment, and new build constructionProject values can vary, giving you exposure to both fast-track smaller works and more complex, higher-value schemes.
This role will be predominantly office-based, giving you strong mentorship and support, while still involving regular site visits to build your practical understanding of delivery.
