Assistant Quantity Surveyor - Commercial Fit Out

London | £30,000 - £50,000 + Package

An established commercial interiors and fit-out contractor is looking to appoint an Assistant Quantity Surveyor to support the delivery of high-quality CAT A & CAT B office fit-out projects across London. This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated QS to develop their career within a fast-paced, design-led environment.

You will work closely with a Senior QS / Commercial Manager, gaining hands-on exposure to live projects and full commercial lifecycle responsibilities.

The Role

Support the commercial management of multiple commercial office fit-out projects

Assist with procurement of subcontractor packages including drylining, ceilings, partitions, finishes and MEP interfaces

Prepare and assist with interim valuations, variations, and final accounts

Carry out take-offs and measurements from drawings

Support cost reporting, forecasting and CVRs

Review subcontractor applications and assist with payment processing

Maintain accurate commercial records and documentation

Liaise with site teams, subcontractors, and consultants

Attend site meetings and assist with commercial reporting

About You

1-4 years' experience in a QS or Assistant QS role

Background in commercial fit-out, interiors, refurbishment, or subcontracting preferred

Strong understanding of measurement, procurement and cost control
