Assistant Project Manager – £8m Design & Build Office Fit Out\nLocation: Southampton\nStart Date: January 2026 (Potentially Sooner)\nDuration: January – July 2026\nWe’re looking for an Assistant Project Manager to help deliver a high-spec £8m design and build office fit out in Southampton.\nThe Role:\nYou will help manage day-to-day site operations, subcontractors, logistics, and ensure works are delivered safely, on programme, and to a high standard.\nKey Responsibilities:\n * \n Oversee all on-site activities, ensuring health & safety compliance\n * \n Coordinate subcontractors and manage daily site logistics\n * \n Review drawings and monitor quality control and progress\n * \n Liaise with client, PM, and design teams to resolve site issues\n * \n Drive programme to meet project milestones\nRequirements:\n * \n Experience delivering commercial fit out or refurbishment projects (£5m+)\n * \n SMSTS, CSCS, and First Aid (essential)\n * \n Excellent communication and leadership skills
