Assistant Project Manager - HVDC / Transmission InfrastructureAn opportunity has arisen for an Assistant Project Manager to support the delivery of major HVDC transmission infrastructure projects as part of a long-term strategic investment programme. The role supports the delivery of civils and building works associated with large onshore converter station developments, working within a multidisciplinary project environment and alongside framework supply chain partners.Key Responsibilities:Support the Project Manager in coordinating project activities across a complex construction environmentMonitor contractor performance, ensuring compliance with Health, Safety, Environment & Wellbeing standardsAssist with programme, cost and budget tracking to ensure delivery to scheduleInterface with contractors, design teams and internal/external stakeholdersManage project documentation including RFIs, change events and technical submittalsExperience & Knowledge:Experience within a project delivery or construction environmentUnderstanding of construction practices and site-based deliveryExposure to AC substations, HVDC converter stations or complex infrastructure projects advantageousWorking knowledge of CDM Regulations 2015, the Health & Safety at Work Act and relevant HSE legislationStrong written and verbal communication skillsAwareness of NEC3 contract administration preferredGuidant, Carbon60, Lorien & SRG - The Impellam Group Portfolio are acting as an Employment Business in relation to this vacancy.JBRP1_UKTJ
