About the job. National Highways have an excellent opportunity for multiple Assistant Project Managers to join our team in Major Projects. As an Assistant Project Manager, you will contribute to the planning and delivery of projects, carrying out assigned project work to ensure the achievement of project objectives and KPIs within agreed time, quality, and cost thresholds, maintaining effective governance, quality assurance, health and safety, technical and specialist standards. Please note this position can be based from any our offices in the North West / Yorkshire North East regions however travel to regional offices and sites will be required. Supporting the creation of high-quality baseline management products, the delivery of projects to delivery plan/ DfT/DCO compliance and other milestone commitments (including designated funds) within time, cost and quality parameters, produce timely and accurate reports, and create and maintain specified records. Overseeing feasibility, design, and assessment work for proposed and existing projects, to inform the development of business cases, investment proposals and other governance requirements.
