Job Description

We are supporting a rapidly growing residential developer with an extensive pipeline of high-value projects across the North West and the wider UK. The business has a strong reputation for delivering high-quality residential developments, supported by ambitious regional expansion plans and a collaborative, supportive delivery team.\n\nAs part of this growth, the company is seeking an Assistant Project Manager to support the delivery of £20m+ residential projects, offering hands-on experience in developer-side project management. This is an excellent opportunity for a candidate with a relevant degree in Project Management, Quantity Surveying, or Construction who is keen to develop their career within a fast-paced, high-profile environment.\n\nThe ideal candidate is organised, ambitious, and proactive, comfortable on site, and willing to travel to project locations across the Northwest and wider UK.\n\nKey Responsibilities:\n\nAssist the project management team in the delivery of residential developments from pre- to post-contract.\n\nSupport site walk rounds, monthly progress meetings, and stakeholder coordination.\n\nHelp maintain project schedules, cost monitoring and risk management.\n\nEnsure projects adhere to quality, safety, and programme standards.\n\nSupport the team in managing contractors, consultants, and client communications.\n\nAssist in resolving on-site issues and implementing project actions.\n\nTake increasing responsibility for smaller workstreams and contribute to project delivery.\n\nRequired Skills and Experience:\n\nRelevant degree in Project Management, Quantity Surveying, Construction or similar.\n\nExposure to pre- and post-contract project management.\n\nStrong organisation, communication, and problem-solving skills.\n\nMust have a valid driving UK license and access to a car; happy to travel to project sites across the Northwest and wider UK.\n\nAmbitious, proactive, and eager to develop project management skills in a developer-side environment.\n\nWhat’s on Offer:\n\nOpportunity to work with a fast-growing developer on high-value projects.\n\nHands-on experience across multiple sites with a supportive, expanding regional delivery team.\n\nExposure to complex, high-profile projects, with a clear path to Project Manager progression.\n\nThis is a rare opportunity to gain hands-on experience in developer-side delivery, support high-value projects across the Northwest and UK, and grow within a rapidly expanding business
