What you'll be doing;
Assisting the Business Manager in overseeing the different HWRC sites
Maintain and enhance the current safety culture focusing on the key corporate messages
Maintain compliance with all external and internal regulatory bodies to ensure standards maintained
Operation of company software to review reports and statistics on safety and develop new local strategies or messages to ensure safe working environments are maintained
External contractor management and control
Effectively plan available resources to ensure smooth operation
Performance - using KPI's to monitor and report on performance to Business / compliance managers
Absence management in line with company policy and procedure
Employee relations managed in line with all company policies and procedures
Succession planning - to ensure all operatives have a mapped career pathway
Assisting the Business Manager with budgets and maintaining cost control
What we're looking for;
Experience gained in a Supervisory role
Previous experience gained in a waste environment is desirable
Excellent communication skills both written and verbal
Previous experience gained working towards KPI's
