About our Nursery
Busy Bees Oxford, rated Good by Ofsted, is a purpose-built nursery with a capacity of 110 children, supported by a longstanding staff team dedicated to meeting individual needs and providing all children with the best start in life. We enhance our community connections through visits from the local police station and fire service, and we actively contribute to our local food bank by collecting food every winter. Our nursery features a large, secure onsite car park, and we benefit from great bus links just a two-minute walk away. Additionally, we offer free parking for staff, ensuring convenient access to our welcoming environment.

Key Responsibilities

- Support the Centre Director in overseeing the daily operations and maintaining educational standards. \n
- Assist in developing and delivering an engaging, high-quality curriculum tailored to the needs of children. \n
- Ensure the centre complies with all relevant regulatory requirements and maintains high safety and health standards. \n
- Provide leadership and mentorship to staff, ensuring a cohesive and motivated team. \n
- Lead efforts to enhance customer satisfaction by delivering exceptional service and promoting a positive centre experience for families. \n
- Assist with administrative tasks, including scheduling, payroll, and recruitment. \n
- Manage operational records and support financial planning to ensure sustainability. \n
- An approved Level 3 qualification or above in early years education.
- Experience within an early years setting, with leadership or supervisory experience ideally as either a Assistant Nursery Manager or Deputy Nursery Manager.
- Proven track record of ensuring educational excellence and curriculum development.
- Strong communication and organisational skills, with a focus on teamwork.
- Experience in maintaining compliance with regulatory standards and health and safety protocols.
