We pride ourselves on providing excellent service, quality food and seasonal changing menus. Our drinks offer works with local craft suppliers and we are proud to be free of any tie to breweries, with a constantly changing beer, spirit, wine and cocktail list The Role We are looking for an enthusiastic and reliable Assistant Manager to join our team. You'll play a key role in ensuring our customers have a great experience, supporting all aspects of pub operations from serving behind the bar to keeping our venue clean and welcoming. Key Responsibilities: Working with local suppliers to create a broad drinks offering

Organising an event calendar for the pub

Training and recruiting new staff

Monthly P&L meetings with Directors to achieve financial targets

Serving customers at the bar with efficiency and a friendly attitude

Taking food and drink orders

Maintaining cleanliness throughout the pub (bar area, seating areas, toilets)

Assisting with stock replenishment and cellar management

Processing payments and handling cash accurately

Ensuring compliance with licensing laws and health & safety regulations

Creating a welcoming atmosphere for all guests

Working collaboratively with the wider team during busy periods

About You Essential: Excellent customer service skills with a friendly, approachable manner

Ability to work well under pressure during busy periods

Flexible availability including evenings, weekends and some late closes

Good communication skills

Team player with a positive attitude

[Age 18+ due to alcohol licensing requirements]

Desirable: Previous experience in a pub, bar, or hospitality environment

Personal Licence Holder qualification

Knowledge of draught beer/cellar management

Food hygiene certificate
