Location:Long Eaton (Hybrid Working) | Salary:£31,000 - £35,00 DOE

Astute Recruitment is exclusively recruiting on behalf of our client for a Part-Qualified Assistant Management Accountant to join their finance team in Long Eaton . This is a permanent, hybrid role , offering a fantastic opportunity for a finance professional looking to develop their career and gain exposure to management accounting across a dynamic organisation.
Key Responsibilities:
Support the Finance team with month-end and year-end reporting
Prepare and reconcile journals, accruals, and prepayments
Assist in the preparation of management accounts, forecasts, and budgets
Conduct variance analysis and provide commentary on financial movements
Maintain and improve Excel-based reporting and financial models
Support internal and external audits as required
Collaborate with other departments to provide financial insight and support
About You:
Part-qualified in CIMA, ACA, or ACCA (PQ)
Solid experience in month-end and financial reporting duties
Strong Excel skills , including formulas, pivot tables, and data analysis
Highly organised, detail-oriented, and proactive
Ability to work effectively in a hybrid environment
