As they continue to scale, they are looking for an ambitious Assistant Management Accountant to strengthen the finance team and support the delivery of accurate, timely financial insight across the business.This is an excellent opportunity for someone studying towards ACCA/CIMA (or equivalent) who is looking to progress their career within a supportive commercial environment.The RoleAs an Assistant Management Accountant, you will play a key role in the month-end process, financial analysis, and reporting to support operational decision-making. Your new role Key ResponsibilitiesAssist with preparation of monthly management accounts, including journals, accruals, and prepayments.Support the production of monthly variance analysis and commentary for operational teams.Maintain cost centre information and support budget holders with commercial insight.Assist with standard costing, BOM reviews, and product costing analysis.Prepare and reconcile balance sheet accounts.Support weekly and monthly KPI reporting, including production, labour, and material variances.Assist in forecasting and budgeting processes.Work with operational teams to understand drivers behind performance and variances.Support year-end audit requirements and provide information as requested.Participate in process improvement initiatives to strengthen financial controls and reporting quality.Carry out ad-hoc financial analysis to support the Finance Manager and site leadership team.What you'll need to succeedWe're looking for someone who is analytical, proactive, and eager to develop.
