Assistant Management Accountant

KennedyPearce are partnering with a music company based in London hiring an Assistant Management Accountant. This role offers flexible and hybrid working, study support and early finishes on a Friday. The role is ideal for someone with a relevant degree in accounting or someone who is qualified in level 4 AAT and is looking to progress to a full accounting qualification (ACCA, CIMA, ACA, or equivalent).
The role:
Process invoices, expenses, cash payments and posting and other financial transactions as required to support the finance team
Assist in preparing monthly management accounts, including journals, accruals, and prepayments.
Support balance sheet reconciliations and ensure accuracy of financial data.
Prepare supporting schedules and commentary for financial reports.
Maintain fixed asset registers and depreciation schedules.
Support the preparation of annual budgets and periodic re-forecasts.
Assist with month-end and year-end closing processes and the annual audit.
Support cashflow reporting and analysis.

The ideal candidate:

A relevant degree in accounting and finance or AAT level 4
Understanding of basic accounting principles.
Proficient in Excel and comfortable working with large data sets.
Strong communication and organisational skills.
