Cheval Collection are currently recruiting an Assistant Maintenance Engineer to join our luxurios serviced apartments at Cheval Knightsbridge. Were looking for a practical, hands-on Assistant Maintenance Engineer to join our team and help keep our residences running smoothly. Youll be the first point of contact for maintenance issuesfixing faults, carrying out routine checks, and making sure everything is safe, functional, and ready for our residents. This role is about more than just tools and repairsits also about people. Youll be working in a customer-facing environment, so a friendly, helpful attitude is essential. Whether you're responding to a residents maintenance request or supervising a contractor on site, youll represent our team with professionalism and care. Your day-to-day will include basic plumbing, electrical and carpentry tasks, fire safety system testing, water temperature checks, and supporting planned preventative maintenance. Youll also help prepare apartments for new arrivals, keep workspaces clean and organised, and follow all safety and operational procedures. Youll report to the Chief Engineer, keeping them updated on completed tasks and any issues that need further attention. Youll work five days out of seven on a rota basis (including weekends and bank holidays), with 8-hour shifts between 8am and 8pm.
