Assistant Logistics & Distribution Manager


Location: West London (Hybrid - 1 day a week)

This position plays a key role in supporting European logistics and distribution activities for pharmaceutical products. You will work across international transport logistics, customs compliance, warehousing, and distribution performance, helping ensure critical medicines move safely, efficiently, and compliantly across multiple markets.


The role offers excellent exposure to end-to-end supply chain operations and close collaboration with commercial, quality, and global logistics partners.


Key Responsibilities

  • Support inbound and outbound transport logistics across Europe
  • Assist with customs management and trade compliance activities
  • Coordinate warehousing and secondary distribution of finished pharmaceutical products
  • Work closely with third-party logistics providers and external suppliers
  • Participate in Sales & Operations Planning (S&OP) processes
  • Monitor logistics and distribution performance metrics
  • Support logistics budget monitoring and cost optimisation initiatives
  • Help drive continuous improvement in efficiency, compliance, and service performance
  • Collaborate cross-functionally to investigate deviations and support change management activities
  • Ensure full compliance with GDP/GMP standards and applicable regulatory requirements


What We’re Looking For

  • Experience in pharmaceutical, healthcare, or regulated supply chain environments
  • Background in logistics, distribution, or international transport coordination
  • Knowledge of customs procedures and trade compliance within Europe
  • Experience working with third-party logistics providers (3PLs)
  • Strong organisational and stakeholder management skills
  • Analytical mindset with an interest in supply chain performance improvement
  • Ability to work in a collaborative, international environment
