Assistant Housekeeping Manager

We are looking to recruit anAssistant Head Housekeeperto join our core housekeeping team.
What about the job?
You will be responsible, together with the Head Housekeeper and another Assistant, for achieving and maintaining the highest level of cleaning standards throughout the Hotel.
Main responsibilities include:
Contribute to the smooth running of the Housekeeping Department.
Manage and control the cleaning and inspection of guests rooms and public areas on a daily basis to ensure excellent cleaning results and standards.
Ensure all team members are aware of their responsibilities and are performing all duties to a consistently high standard.
Coach, inspire and influence team members to deliver high standards of service and exceed guest expectations
On an on-going basis check that furnishings and equipment are in good repair and that they are replaced or refurbished as required to ensure physical facilities are kept in optimal condition.
Ensure that all guests are greeted in a warm and courteous fashion and tended to in a professional manner by every team member.
Control of housekeeping procedures, including lost and found, Health & Safety, COSHH, keys , phones and emergency procedures.
Manage linen room, concerning supply and cleaning of linen, uniforms, guest laundry and dry-cleaning
Assist the head housekeeper with the supervision of outside contracts such as window cleaning, carpet cleaning, curtain cleaning, and any other housekeeping contractors.
The housekeeping team is outsourced and some key roles employed directly by the hotel.
What about you?
The ideal candidate will be a genuine team player with leadership skills and at least five years experience in a similar role in luxury property. You will be able to demonstrate the following skills:

Able to display a pro-active approach to problem solving
