A high-growth, internationally operational organisation is seeking a technically strong Assistant Group Controller to support group financial operations across a multi-entity structure. This is a newly create role due to continued growth throughout Europe. This is a key role within the Group Finance team, working closely with senior leadership to ensure robust financial control, accurate reporting and enhanced insight into business performance. The position will also play an important part in ongoing ERP and finance systems development, helping to strengthen processes and improve reporting capability across the group. Key Responsibilities Support monthly group consolidation and management reporting Assist with statutory accounts and audit process Strengthen financial controls across multiple entities Manage intercompany accounting and reconciliations Contribute to ERP implementation and finance system enhancements Deliver insightful reporting on customer profitability and margin performance Support group cashflow forecasting and balance sheet integrity Candidate Profile Professionally qualified accountant (ACA / ACCA / CIMA) Experience operating within a multi-entity or group structure Strong technical accounting and financial controls background Experience with ERP or finance system implementation / improvement Advanced Excel capability and strong analytical mindset Proactive, detail-oriented and keen to develop within a growing organisation Opportunity This role offers the opportunity to join a progressive and expanding international business where finance plays a key role in supporting commercial decision-making and operational growth.
