Job Description

Coombe Wood Golf Club is a thriving private Members’ club located just 9 miles from central London. We are currently seeking a highly motivated and forward-thinking individual to support the General Manager in driving the club to further success.


With a proud history and strong sense of community, the club has gone from strength to strength in recent years, so this is an exciting opportunity for an ambitious professional to grow with the club.


About the Role:

This is a broad and dynamic role, offering exposure to all aspects of golf club management. It is suited to someone with a genuine passion for the industry and a strong ambition to progress into a General Manager role within the next 3-5 years.


You will play a key part in the day-to-day operations of the club, while contributing to member engagement, event coordination, business development and strategic planning.


Ideal Candidate Profile:

  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Meticulous with high levels of attention to detail
  • Previous experience in golf, hospitality, or club management
  • Experience in developing and implementing marketing strategies
  • A good understanding of private members' club culture and environment
  • Accounts or financial management experience (advantageous but not essential)
  • Proficient level of golf with a passion for the game
