We are late night and we like to think we host the best house parties in London Were looking for an Assistant General Manager to partner with the GM, support the entire flat, and help ensure every shift runs beautifully, both on the floor and behind the scenes.
The role Youre the GMs right hand, and the glue that holds it all together. This is a pivotal role. You form the perfect duo with the General Manager, leading from the front while keeping the back of house systems tight and compliant. You help create a homely, welcoming environment where every guest feels safe, looked after and genuinely cared for. You champion our culture, support the development of every department, and take real ownership of standards across bar, floor and kitchen. You balance warmth with commercial awareness, protecting margins, growing revenue and ensuring our offering stays fresh, competitive and on brand.
What were looking for Someone who: thrives in partnership and teamwork brings solutions, not problems thinks commercially and protects margins leads with warmth and authority has exceptional attention to detail supports and develops managers confidently communicates clearly and consistently takes pride in systems, structure and standards Youll be organised, proactive and confident as comfortable hosting on the floor as you are overseeing compliance, budgets and operational processes.
What youll be doing Representing The Little Door & Co values in every interaction Overseeing front of house standards, stocktakes and brand guidelines Driving excellence in our F&B offering, keeping it fresh, competitive and on brand Maintaining strict allergen and dietary compliance, ensuring accurate communication across teams Protecting margins through strong F&B cost control and revenue focus Overseeing the Bar Manager and ensuring drink quality, cleanliness and compliance are spot on Supporting the Floor Managers development and day-to-day leadership Working closely with the Head Chef to uphold kitchen compliance, certification and hygiene Monitoring BOH organisation, maintenance and overall diligence Supporting recruitment, onboarding and HR compliance across all departments Maintaining consistent training plans and development programmes Managing guest feedback and handling complaints with warmth and confidence Preparing and auditing opening, closing and cleaning procedures Ensuring the team and venue are always House Proud
