The Landor is an independent fun and busy pub, 300+ capacity venue located less than 5 min walk from Clapham North tube station. Role Description This is a full-time on-site role for a Pub Assistant Manager located in Clapham. The Pub Assistant Manager will oversee daily operations, ensuring excellent customer service and smooth workflow. Responsibilities include managing staff, handling staff schedules, monitoring inventory and supplies, assisting in marketing and promotions, and addressing customer needs or concerns. The role also involves ensuring adherence to health and safety regulations and supporting the General Manager in achieving business goals. Qualifications Leadership and team management skills for supervising, motivating, and coordinating staff Operational skills including inventory management, scheduling, and handling day-to-day logistics Customer service orientation and excellent interpersonal communication skills Knowledge of health and safety regulations in the hospitality or food and beverage industry Problem-solving skills and the ability to handle customer feedback effectively Marketing and promotional skills, with the ability to help drive customer engagement and revenue growth Previous experience in hospitality or food and beverage management is a must. Flexible availability, including evenings and weekends Managing emails and online booking system Maintaining an active social media presence, capturing the life of tue venue and engaging with the online community.
