What you will do:
As an Assistant Executive Housekeeper you will help supporting the Housekeeping management team in the smooth day-to-day running of the department
Control labour costs; ensure that labour requirements are appropriate to the levels of business, that rotas are panned with sufficient flexibility to cope with variations in demand
Assist in the control of Housekeeping operating stocks, and in the control of Hotel uniforms
Ensure all hotel policies, procedures and health & safety standards are followed
Support staffing coordination and daily operational planning
Handle guest requests and minor complaints in a professional manner
Monitor outsourced services (e.g. cleaning contractors) and report maintenance needs
Contribute to consistent service quality and overall departmental efficiency
Who you are: Minimum of 1/2 years experience as a Housekeeping Supervisor in a 4/5 * property
Excellent spoken and written English
Polite, professional, friendly and confident in approach
The Assistant Executive Housekeeper must be a good team player who is flexible, reliable and hard working. You will work 5 days out of 7 and maybe required to cover the Evening shift.
IT literate, comfortable working with Microsoft applications (Word, Excel, Outlook), Opera and Triton to name but a few
Ability to remain calm under pressure by being well organized, and able to juggle priorities comfortably.
