Job Role My client is seeking an Assistant Design Manager to join their team, supporting the delivery of complex design packages on the HS2 programme. This role will focus on acting as a Technical Design Coordinator, ensuring effective communication, coordination, and integration across multiple design disciplines.

The successful candidate will ideally come from a strong design engineering background and have progressed into design management or design coordination roles. You will be comfortable working at the interface between disciplines, managing technical queries, and ensuring design outputs are aligned with project requirements, standards, and programme constraints.

This opportunity is with a leading consultancy; however, candidates from a main contractor background will also be considered, provided they have a solid foundation in design engineering and have transitioned into design management responsibilities.
