About The Role
Main Purpose: Support the Contracts Manager and Engineering Team in the delivery of strategic and contractual obligations across the schools contract.
Duties & Responsibilities
Take ownership of maintenance delivery at all sites
Cover all sites as and when required
Be on call for escalations
Responsible for team CPDs, appraisal, HR matters
Ensure all staff are competent and fully supported in all tasks
Ensure training and refresher courses are planned and implemented toIe FM and SPT
Prioritize own and manager’s workload
Ideally have a minimum of 3 years managerial or acting manager experience in building maintenance and/or Facilities management
Previous trade training in M&E and experience essential
Use and plan your time to meet the requirements of the daily and weekly working, and assisting colleagues
Capable of competourage using the IT provided
Be prepared to complete any task requested of you in the maintenance and support of the Contract implementation
Attend training as required to enhance management and technical skills
Good knowledge of H&S (formal training preferred)
Attend monthly site meetings with client
Create monthly reports for each site. Liaise with MM
