Assistant Care Manager

We are recruiting for an Assistant Manager for our new residential service, Ty Gwerthfawr, in Pontardawe. This purpose-built service includes 12 ground-floor flats, 10 of which are wheelchair accessible, and is designed to support adults with complex needs in a person-centred, flat-based model of care. Key Responsibilities: Support the Registered Manager in delivering high-quality care and managing daily operations Lead and develop a team of Senior Support Workers and Support Workers Ensure compliance with policies, procedures, and regulatory standards Maintain accurate records and monitor service effectiveness Act as a service ambassador, building strong relationships with stakeholders Manage the service in the absence of the Registered Manager Oversee care delivery and ensure person-centred support plans are followed Support staff development through training, supervision, and mentoring
