Description

Collection, validation, and preparation of procurement data
Supply market research, analysis, and benchmarking activities
Identification, engagement, and ongoing management of stakeholders
Participation in and support of stakeholder engagement sessions
Contribution to the development of tender specifications and requirements
Preparation and drafting of ITTs and RFQs using approved standard templates
Effective and efficient use of the WWU e-Procurement system throughout the tender process
Post-tender evaluation, analysis, and reporting
Support for and participation in supplier negotiations
Contribution to the preparation of contract award recommendations and documentation
Support for the implementation and onboarding of new suppliers and processes following contract awardProfile

A successful Assistant Buyer should have:

Degree-qualified and/or MCIPS-qualified procurement professional with broad, relevant experience and proven practical application
