We're partnering with a well-established and fast-growing construction consultancy that's expanding its Manchester team and looking for an ambitious Assistant Building Surveyor to join them on their journey. \n\nThis is an exciting opportunity to get hands-on with a diverse portfolio of projects across education, healthcare and residential sectors, including complex, multi-million-pound schemes.

You'll be supported by experienced surveyors, benefit from structured mentorship, and follow a clear, well-defined APC pathway designed to help you achieve chartership. \n\nYou'll join a friendly, collaborative office where learning is encouraged, development is prioritised, and your contribution truly matters. \n\nWhat you'll be doing:\n\nSupporting senior surveyors across a broad mix of professional and project work\nAssisting with contract administration and specification writing\nCarrying out measured surveys, condition surveys and site inspections\nProducing technical reports and documentation with guidance from experienced colleagues\nProviding advice on design, construction, maintenance and repair works\nWorking closely with clients and multidisciplinary teams\nGaining wide-ranging exposure to all areas of building surveying to support APC progressionWhat we're looking for:\n\nA degree in Building Surveying\nIdeally 1+ years' experience within a consultancy environment\nA strong desire to progress towards chartership (full APC support provided)\nConfident written and verbal communication skills\nA proactive, organised mindset with a genuine eagerness to learn\nInterest in sectors such as education, healthcare and residentialWhat's in it for you:\n\nComprehensive APC support with a tailored training and development programme\nHybrid working and flexible start/finish times\n28 days annual leave plus bank holidays\nHealth & wellbeing allowance\nPhone allowance\nA supportive, people-first culture with real career progression opportunities\nReady for a new challenge?
