  • About the Role

    As an Assistant Bodyshop Manager, you’ll support the Bodyshop Manager in ensuring the efficient day-to-day running of the workshop. You’ll be hands-on with job carding, parts organisation, process management, and customer communication—helping deliver a smooth, high-quality repair experience.


    Key Responsibilities

    • Discuss repair plans with customers, manage expectations, and communicate ECDs clearly.
    • Listen to customer needs and address concerns with professionalism.
    • Ensure all workshop documentation is accurate and complete.
    • Work closely with central functions to enhance process understanding and flow.
    • Support workshop efficiency and ensure parts and job carding processes run smoothly.
  • Skills & Experience

    • Background in a team lead, supervisory, or parts-focused role—ideally within automotive.
    • Proactive, solution-focused mindset with a commitment to getting it right first time.
    • Strong communication skills (verbal and written).
    • Highly organised with strong process awareness.
    • Flexible, adaptable, and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment.
    • Good IT skills and ability to learn new systems quickly.
    • Knowledge of body & paint repair processes is desirable but not essential.
