Purpose of the Role

This role is an integral part of the Poultry GB site Finance team supporting the Site Accountant and Finance Manager.

To provide support to the finance department in the delivery of a high-quality professional management accounting and product costing service in accordance with financial regulations, group polices, procedure and best practice. Key Responsibilities
To support the Site Accountant with the preparation of weekly and monthly management accounts.
To take responsibility for sections of the P&L and prepare reporting of variances against standard and budget within the normal reporting deadlines.
To take responsibility for sections of the Balance Sheet, ensuring the financial integrity of the numbers through regular review and month end balance sheet reconciliation.
To report key performance indicators and other operations data to the U.S.
To ensure site capital expenditure is analysed and capital additions updated to the asset register on a timely basis
To review weekly stocks for quantity and price and identify the financial impact of any errors. Provide feedback to the relevant operations staff to improve financial controls.
