We are recruiting for an experienced Asset Risk & Performance Analyst to join a specialist Asset Health, Risk & Performance function within a major UK utilities environment. This is a fantastic opportunity to play a key role in shaping the future of critical water infrastructure through data-driven asset management, risk modelling, and performance analysis.
This role focuses on analysing complex asset data, developing risk models, and supporting strategic decision-making across water, wastewater, and bioresources systems. You will help identify current and future asset risks and contribute to the development of long-term investment and maintenance strategies.
Key Responsibilities
Analyse and interpret data from multiple sources to support the development of asset risk models, maintenance programmes, and system strategies
Assess asset performance and underlying risk across asset groups and infrastructure systems
Develop and maintain robust, auditable risk models to support investment planning and resilience strategies
Model likelihood and consequence of asset failure across different scenarios to inform decision-making
Support the development of asset management plans, monitoring systems, and performance reporting frameworks
Produce clear, stakeholder-ready reports including asset condition updates, risk summaries, GIS outputs, and performance insights
Support strategic planning inputs for regulatory submissions and long-term investment planning frameworks
Work collaboratively with internal teams including engineering, operations, regulation, health & safety, and delivery partners
Liaise with external stakeholders including infrastructure partners and local authorities where required
Apply best practice asset management principles aligned with ISO 55000 standardsAbout You
To be successful in this role, you will bring:
Background in asset management, engineering, infrastructure, or a related technical discipline
Strong experience working with complex data sets and delivering analytical insight
Understanding of asset risk, performance management, or infrastructure lifecycle planning
Experience using tools such as ArcGIS and ESRI platforms
Knowledge of statistical analysis and/or modelling tools such as R or Python (desirable)
Strong communication skills with the ability to present technical information clearly to stakeholders
Ability to work across multiple teams and build effective internal and external relationships
A proactive, structured approach with strong analytical and problem-solving capability
Understanding of regulated environments and/or utilities (desirable)What’s on Offer
