Location: ST5 (Newcastle-under-Lyme, Stoke-on-Trent) Job Type: Temp, initially for 4 months, with the possibility to lead to a permanent contract for the right candidate. Pay rate: £12.70 per hour. Hours: Monday to Thursday (08:00 to 16:30) Friday (08:00 to 15:00) 39 hours a week standard, with the possibility of overtime through the week and on the weekend paid at T1/2. The role: Overhauling / reconditioning of railway battery systems. Assist in fault-finding, troubleshooting, and minor repair work on products. Maintain assembly and calibration records and documentation. Assembly, wiring and connections of electrical equipment and railway battery systems. Working within a team to achieve required orders. Carry out training/upskilling on relevant procedures and areas. Using a variety of different tools.
