?We are currently working in partnership with an award winning Housing Association with properties across the South West, who are recruiting for an Asbestos Removal Project Manager on a temporary three-month contract. The client is looking for someone to start immediately, is offering extensive home working and dependent one experience can offer £350.00 - £400.00 per day via an umbrella company. The ideal candidate will have led previous asbestos removal and compliance projects, ideally within social housing, and have access to their own vehicle with a full UK Driving Licence. Duties will include (but are not limited to): Effectively delivering on an asbestos project, reviewing surveys, planning supervision and oversight of asbestos removals through contractors

Managing a programme of asbestos remedial works and end-to-end delivery of asbestos abatement across the social housing stock

Planning and supervising the reinstatement works following removal of asbestos

Preparing and reviewing survey information, reviewing desktop survey information and prioritising removals

Ensuring suitable method statements, risk assessments and PoWs are in place and implemented

Ensuring compliance with Control of Asbestos Regulations 2012, HSG 247 and HSG 248
