Empowering Learning are working with a range of secondary schools across South London and Surrey who are looking for passionate, creative Art teachers to join their departments from September 2026. Whether you are looking for a permanent position or a long-term contract, we have opportunities that are worth talking about.

What We Are Looking For

First and foremost, you will need Qualified Teacher Status. Beyond that, we are looking for Art teachers who genuinely love their subject and can bring that enthusiasm into the classroom every day.

You might be an experienced Art teacher looking for a change of school. You might be an ECT finishing your training this summer. Either way, if you have QTS and a passion for creative education, we want to hear from you.

We are particularly looking for teachers who can cover across the broader Art and Design curriculum, including Fine Art, Textiles, Photography and Graphics - though this will vary depending on the school.
