About Collective Equity

Collective Equity is redefining wealth creation by enabling fine art and real estate owners to swap their assets for equity in high-growth venture capital (VC) and growth equity companies.

We offer a tax-efficient alternative to traditional asset sales, unlocking liquidity and diversification for asset-rich investors.

About the Role

We are seeking an Art Acquisitions Manager to lead the sourcing and acquisition of blue-chip artworks from owners of museum-quality pieces by world-renowned, canonical artists (e.g. Picasso, Monet, Rothko). This individual will play a key role in educating owners on our fund model and guiding them through the process of exchanging art assets for equity in our $500M investment vehicle.

The ideal candidate will have deep industry expertise, a robust global network across the fine art ecosystem, and a proven ability to structure complex transactions aligned with our fund’s strategy.

Key Responsibilities

  • Deal Sourcing & Origination
  • Identify and engage owners of investment-grade artworks seeking alternative liquidity options. Focus on works by globally recognised, historically significant artists.
  • Portfolio Growth
  • Drive the sourcing and execution of >$100M in fine art transactions annually, contributing significantly to portfolio diversification.
  • Network Expansion
  • Leverage and expand relationships with collectors, family offices, museums, foundations, institutional sellers, and private dealers to access off-market opportunities.
  • Due Diligence & Valuation Oversight
  • Coordinate authentication, provenance verification, and valuation processes to ensure asset quality and long-term investment potential.
  • Strategic Partnerships
  • Develop relationships with galleries, art advisors, institutions, and other intermediaries to enhance deal flow and transaction efficiency.

Must-Have Qualifications

  • Art Investment Expertise
  • Extensive experience in fine art acquisitions, investment management, or art finance, with a focus on high-value, blue-chip artworks.
  • Established Network
  • Demonstrated access to art sellers, brokers, and collectors across key markets (UK, US, Europe, etc.).
  • Tax & Legal Fluency
  • Familiarity with tax-advantaged transaction structures for fine art and cross-border deal considerations.
  • Deal Execution Track Record
  • Proven success in structuring and closing large, complex asset transactions.
  • Entrepreneurial Approach
  • Self-starter who thrives in an innovative, fast-paced environment and can independently drive results.

Nice to Have

  • A global network within the art, luxury, or alternative investment sectors
  • Understanding of venture capital and growth equity structures
  • Experience with art lending, fractionalization, or digital asset platforms

Compensation & Benefits

  • Base Salary: Competitive, based on experience
  • Performance Bonus: Deal-based incentives tied to successful acquisitions
  • Flexible Work: Remote-first culture with global WeWork access
  • Travel: International travel as required for deal execution and relationship development
