Develop and lead a high‑performing team, acting as a true role model by seeing everything from the customer’s point of view. Inspire, motivate and empower everyone around you. Take total accountability for the store, driving performance, plans and actions; celebrating success and ensuring your teams are trained and developed to be the best they can be.

How You’ll Progress There are many routes to choose from. Prove yourself in this role and we’ll encourage you to develop, whether you stay with Argos or move across to another Sainsbury's store or region. Essential Criteria
Relentless pursuit of better customer experiences, with evidence of improvements in a previous role. Experience managing a fast‑paced operation, delivering results across service, sales, customer outcomes and team performance. Use of insight to make smart decisions that improve performance and customer experiences. Confidence navigating employee relations and applying HR policies consistently and with care. Developing and supporting performance and capability within a team, helping others step up and succeed. Ability to lead through change, keeping your team motivated and focused. Walking the talk – showing up every day as a role model for service and values.
