Area Sales Manager - South West England / Bristol area

Job Description: Nordson Packaging, a global leader in precision dispensing, fluid management, and related technologies, is seeking a highly motivated and talented Area Sales Manager Packaging to join our team in South West England. Summary of the role

The position holder is responsible for account management and direct sales for all packaging top customers within the South West England region.

Role and Responsibilities

• Maintain all packaging customers within the designated territory with the aim to grow revenue year on year as per the company's NBS guidelines and expectations.
• Increase system population through proactive value selling activities within new, existing, and competitive accounts.
• Recapitalize the existing Nordson installed base by focusing on customers with inefficient and obsolete equipment.
• Introduce, promote, and up-sell the latest range of Nordson equipment to all customers.
• Develop aftermarket business to grow spare parts revenue, including maintenance contracts, training, and engineering work.
• Gain comprehensive knowledge of the territory through courtesy calls and liaison with the Engineering team.
• Generate strong working relationships with adhesive suppliers and transfer knowledge.

Skills and Qualifications

• Good all-round education with knowledge of engineering, sales, and marketing.
• Strong commercial and sales skills with the ability to communicate effectively with customers at all levels.
• Valid clean driving license.
• Fluent English language skills are mandatory.
• Ability to work independently using own initiative or as part of a team.
• Flexibility in daily duties and willingness to stay overnight when required.

Yes, approximately 80% within Southern England, focusing on the Bristol area.
