JOB OVERVIEW
We have a fantastic new job opportunity for a B2B Business Development Area Sales Manager who can prospect, develop new business opportunities within the construction industry and negotiate deals to a high level.
Working as the B2B Business Development Area Sales Manager you will work closely with direct Customers, Window and Door Fabricators, Installers, Trade Counters, Architects, Specifiers, main Construction Contractors and other clients associated with uPVC window products to deliver a customer centric experience for them in terms of account management, enhancing their product range and adding volume to fulfil their production capacity.
As the B2B Business Development Area Sales Manager you will be responsible for generating new business across Scotland by working closely with the Commercial and Trade Sales teams to ensure that a holistic sales approach is delivered across the area.
DUTIES
Your duties as the B2B Business Development Area Sales Manager include:
• Identify, prospect and develop new business opportunities to drive sales growth across the designated territories
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with Fabricators, Installers, Trade Counters, Architects, Specifiers and main Construction Contractors and other clients associated with uPVC window products
• Understand the customer’s needs and requirements, provide accurate information and demonstrate product benefits effectively
• Identify new market trends and implement sales strategies to keep up to date with competitor activity
• Track all customer interactions and provide accurate forecasting
• Achieve monthly and quarterly sales targets and report progress
CANDIDATE REQUIREMENTS
• You should have knowledge of the construction market in the Scotland, with a network of contacts in the industry
• It is essential that you have the ability to assimilate knowledge of the company’s window products (product training provided) along with commercial acumen
• You will be target driven with evidence of consistently achieving or exceeding targets
• You should be articulate and numerate to a high level and be able to communicate at all levels
• Confident and adept at delivering successful sales pitches / approaches
• Knowledge and previous experience of the fenestration market is important
• Prior dealings with Fabricators, Installers, Trade Counters, Architects, Specifiers and main Construction Contractors and other clients associated with uPVC window products
