Pay: £45,000.00-£55,000.00 per year\n\nJob Description:\n\nMy client is a leading Lighting Manufacturer in the UK. They are recruiting for a capable and experienced Area Sales Manager to join their team.\n\nJob Title: Area Sales Manager - South Central Region\n\nLocation: Field-based role covering the South Central region (including postcodes OX, HP, SL, HA, UB, W, RG, GU, SP, SO, BH, PO)\n\nSalary: Competitive base salary + uncapped bonus / commission structure\n\nJob type: Full Time, Permanent\n\nAbout the role:\n\nAs Business Development Manager you will:\n\n * Identify, qualify and win new business opportunities across your designated territory/sector.\n\n * Develop and build relationships with key stakeholders including wholesalers/distributors and contractors.\n\n * Work closely with internal teams (product, marketing, project services) to deliver tailored proposals and solutions.\n\n * Develop and execute strategic sales plans to meet and exceed commercial targets (revenue, margin, market share).\n\n * Monitor market trends, competitor activity and customer needs to shape product/market strategy.\n\n * Report on pipeline, forecast and performance, leverage CRM and other tools for visibility.\n\nAbout you:\n\nWhat We're Looking For:\n\n * Proven track-record in business development or senior sales in the lighting / electrical / building services / M&E industry (or closely related).\n\n * Strong commercial acumen, negotiation skills and ability to close complex deals.\n\n * Excellent relationship-building skills, with ability to engage at multiple stakeholder levels.\n\n * Self-motivated, target-driven and able to work independently and as part of a team.\n\n * Strong communication skills (written & verbal), good presentation / proposal skills.\n\n * Valid UK driving licence and willingness to travel across your territory (UK & possibly abroad).\n\n * Understanding of lighting technologies, specification processes, and distribution channels is a strong advantage.\n\nWhat we Offer:\n\n * Competitive base salary + uncapped bonus / commission structure.\n\n * Hybrid company car + mobile phone & laptop.\n\n * Opportunity to make a measurable impact in a growing company with innovative products.\n\n * Support from marketing, product development and project services functions.\n\n * Ongoing training and development; a collaborative, energetic working environment.\n\n * Starting holiday entitlement of 23 days plus Bank holidays increasing up to 27 days\n\n * Private healthcare cover which includes dental and optical cashback\n\n * Pension\n\n * Contribution to gym membership\n\n * Up to 3 chillax days a year\n\n * Access to Employee Assistance Program\n\n * Major discount on our company lighting products
