Remuneration: £40,000-£50,000 + £10,000-£15,000 Commission

The role of the Area Sales Manager – Generator Hire will involve:

* Field sales role selling generator hire

* Selling into main contractors, electrical contractors and specialist event and film companies

* Sales target between £1m-£2m

* Majority of the time on the road in front of customers

* Tropical customers include hospitals, factories, distributors (where power back-up is essential)

* Selling the hire of large generators

* Leveraging your own network of contacts within the power industry

The ideal applicant will be an Area Sales Manager – Generator Hire with:

* 3 years+ field sales experience

* Must come from and have a network of contacts within the generator power industry

* Generator hire experience/ working for a competitor

* Strong negotiating skills

* Competitive nature

* Experience of managing a multi-site organisation

* Understanding of mechanical and electrical engineering

* Excellent communication, presentation and interpersonal skills
