Area Manager – Professional Hair (North UK) Territory: Stoke-on-Trent to the Scottish Borders An opportunity has arisen to join a progressive and growing brand within the professional hair industry as an Area Manager, taking ownership of a significant and high-potential region. This role offers a blend of leadership and commercial responsibility, suited to someone who thrives in a field-based environment and is passionate about developing both people and business. The Opportunity You will be responsible for leading and developing a small field-based team, while also maintaining close relationships with key clients across your region. This is a highly visible role, requiring a strong presence within the territory and a genuine commitment to driving performance and standards. Working closely with internal teams, you will play a key role in shaping the success of the region, ensuring both commercial growth and a consistent, high-quality client experience. Key Responsibilities
Lead, coach and develop a small team, driving performance and engagement Build and maintain strong relationships with key salon partners Deliver commercial growth across the territory Ensure a consistent and high standard of service across all accounts Collaborate with education and internal teams to maximise opportunities Maintain a strong understanding of market activity and competitor landscape
About You
A background within the professional hair industry is essential Experience in a field-based commercial role, with exposure to leadership or mentoring Strong relationship-building skills, with a consultative and professional approach Commercially aware, with the ability to identify and drive growth opportunities Self-motivated, organised and comfortable managing a large geographical area Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel regularly
