Deliveroo

Deliveroo’s mission is to transform the way you shop and eat, bringing the neighbourhood to your door by connecting consumers, restaurants, shops and riders. We continue to operate in a competitive marketplace, but have achieved significant growth over the past few years, including expansion in our New Verticals business, which encompasses site operations across our delivery-only sites—Editions and HOP.

We continue to innovate and challenge ourselves on what we should deliver next to achieve our mission. We are investing and building out teams to help us launch new innovative products. It's an exciting time to join, and while we have made significant progress, we are just getting started!

Editions

When we launched in 2017, Deliveroo Editions was the world's first delivery-only kitchen business, and we are still the market leader in helping our restaurant partners succeed. We bring exclusive restaurant brands into high-demand areas. We operate across five global markets and have perfected the art of delivering customer orders in the fastest way possible. These super kitchens provide restaurant owners with an end-to-end solution for fulfilling customer orders to the highest possible standards, outperforming their brick-and-mortar KPIs. This is the reason why many of the industry's leading brands (such as Dishoom, Wingstop, Five Guys, and Pickl) have chosen Editions to help them grow their brands and develop new ones!

Site Operations

Great people help to drive our business forward, and we are always looking for more to join our sites. If you don’t have the exact experience, that’s okay, we’d still love to hear from you. Does this sound tasty to you? Take a look at our Area Manager role and apply below to join the Roo family.

The Role

The responsibility of the Editions Area Manager is to lead your site teams in achieving the highest possible standards within their respective areas of sites. This includes exceeding customer satisfaction by attaining operational KPIs, maximising site profitability by holding teams accountable for cost management and championing team morale by fostering a positive and cooperative working environment.

It also involves managing additional revenue streams and overseeing the upkeep and maintenance of our sites whilst being fully compliant with local laws and regulations. The nature of our business is multifaceted, which means you will be championing relationships with various internal and external stakeholders, including commercial, compliance, and build teams, as well as our restaurant partners, suppliers, landlords, and local authorities.

Workplace & Diversity

At Deliveroo, we know that people are the heart of the business and we prioritise their welfare. We offer a wide range of competitive benefits in areas including health, family, finance, community, convenience, growth and relocation.

A great workplace represents the world we live in and how beautifully diverse it can be. That means we have no judgment when it comes to any one of the things that make you who you are - your gender, race, sexuality, religion or a secret aversion to coriander. All you need is a passion for (most) food and a desire to be part of one of the fastest-growing startups in an inspiring space.
