Architectural Technician at Award Winning Design Practice

Central London | £45,000 to £55,000 DOE | Hybrid Working

We are looking for an experienced Architectural Technician for our client who is technically confident, detail-focused, and comfortable taking responsibility for the delivery of complex projects within a well-structured studio environment. This role suits someone who enjoys the technical side of architecture, takes pride in well-resolved information, and wants to play a key role in seeing projects built.

The studio is a respected London-based architecture practice with a strong track record of delivering high-quality, technically robust work. Projects are typically complex and require a high level of technical coordination, close consultant engagement, and clear communication with contractors. The culture is professional, supportive, and calm, with an emphasis on doing things properly rather than rushing. Technicians are trusted with responsibility and given the space to develop depth and expertise, rather than being stretched thin across too many projects.

Responsibilities

  • Working as part of a project team with a strong focus on technical design and delivery stages
  • Producing detailed, coordinated technical drawing packages and construction information
  • Developing and resolving technical details in line with UK regulations and best practice
  • Coordinating information with consultants and supporting responses to contractor queries
  • Taking ownership of defined technical packages and contributing to smooth project delivery

Skills & Experience

  • You have solid experience working as an Architectural Technician within a UK practice
  • You are confident delivering projects through technical and construction stages
  • Revit proficient, with a strong understanding of BIM workflows
  • You have a good working knowledge of UK building regulations and standard procurement routes
  • You are organised, methodical, and comfortable working collaboratively within a project team
  • The right to work in the UK without needing sponsorship

Benefits

  • Hybrid working and a considered approach to work-life balance
  • Employer pension contribution and paid annual leave
  • Ongoing CPD and support for continued technical development
  • A stable studio environment with clear expectations and long-term progression opportunities

If you are an Architectural Technician looking for a technically focused role in a supportive Central London studio, this is an excellent next step.
