Location: Oxford

Salary: £34-40,000

An established architectural practice with a diverse portfolio across commercial, education, defence, and healthcare sectors is seeking a skilled Architectural Technician to join its friendly team in Oxford. This role offers the opportunity to support the technical design and delivery of large-scale projects across multiple RIBA stages, contributing to a wide range of schemes with a strong focus on technical detailing, compliance, and complex project requirements. Responsibilities

* Support the technical delivery of projects across multiple RIBA stages
* Produce detailed technical drawings, construction packages, and specifications
* Assist in developing coordinated design solutions that meet technical and regulatory requirements
* Work closely with architects, consultants, and contractors to coordinate project information
* Contribute to the preparation of 3D models and drawing packages using Revit, AutoCAD, and SketchUp
* Liaise with clients and project stakeholders to support efficient project delivery
* Assist with site visits, responding to technical queries during construction phases
* Work on projects across commercial, education, defence, and healthcare sectors, including technically complex environments

Skills and Qualifications

* Relevant qualification in Architectural Technology or a related discipline
* Experience within a UK-based architectural practice
* Good understanding of UK Building Regulations and construction detailing
* Proficiency in Revit, AutoCAD, and SketchUp
* Experience supporting projects across various RIBA stages
* Previous sector experience in commercial, education, defence, or healthcare would be advantageous
* Willingness to obtain security clearance where required for certain projects
* Full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle preferred
* Strong communication, coordination, and organisational skills, with a high level of attention to detail
