Location: Cardiff
Salary: £30,000 to £38,000 DOE
An established and design-focused architectural practice is looking to recruit a talented Architectural Technician to join its Cardiff studio. With over 50 years of delivering high-quality, sustainable projects across the UK and internationally, the practice has developed a strong reputation for creating commercially aware and user-focused environments. Working across architecture, urban design, and masterplanning, the team is well known for its work within mixed-use, retail, leisure, residential, and workplace sectors.
Role & Responsibilities for the Architectural Technician role:
Support the delivery of projects across multiple RIBA stages Produce detailed technical drawings and construction information Assist in developing practical and compliant technical solutions Coordinate with internal teams, consultants, and external stakeholders Prepare and manage drawing packages, specifications, and technical documentation Attend meetings and site visits, supporting project delivery on siteThe successful Architectural Technician will have:
Relevant qualification in Architectural Technology or a related discipline Proven experience working within a UK architectural practice Strong technical knowledge and understanding of UK Building Regulations Experience producing detailed drawing packages across various RIBA stages Proficiency in Revit; knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite is beneficial Strong communication skills with a collaborative and organised approachBenefits:
