Application Packager – 2-month contract – Outside of IR35 – London/Remote My Customer is currently looking for an experienced Application Packager to support a Windows OS migration across Point of Sale (POS) devices used within restaurant environments . This role will play a key part in ensuring that applications are successfully prepared, tested and deployed as part of a large-scale rollout. The focus of the role will be to simplify and streamline the current rollout process used by Field Engineers , reducing the length and complexity of the existing documentation to help avoid issues during the update and migration of applications on POS devices. Key Skills & Experience from the Application Packager: Strong experience in manual application packaging within Windows environments. Experience supporting Windows OS migrations or large-scale application deployment programmes. Excellent knowledge of Command Line, Batch scripting, and Command Logic . Ability to reverse engineer applications to understand installation processes, scripts, registry changes, and dependencies.
