Application Development & Support Manager Our client is looking for an experienced Application Development & Support Manager to lead the delivery, enhancement, and support of critical business applications within a banking environment. This role combines hands-on technical leadership, team management, and operational oversight, ensuring business-critical systems remain secure, reliable, and aligned with evolving business needs. What You'll Be Doing
Lead and develop a team of developers and application support analysts Oversee the full application lifecycle – design, delivery, and BAU support Deliver system enhancements and new applications that support core banking operations Manage incidents, troubleshoot issues, and drive root-cause resolution Work closely with project teams, business stakeholders, and third-party vendors Ensure systems meet security, regulatory, and audit requirements Monitor performance, coordinate upgrades, and maintain documentation Manage BAU and small-change budgets while driving efficiency improvements
What We're Looking For
Proven experience within banking or financial services Strong background in software development and application lifecycle management Experience leading or mentoring technical teams Solid understanding of Agile, DevOps, and service management frameworks (e.g., ITIL) Experience with cloud platforms (Microsoft Azure desirable) Excellent stakeholder management and problem-solving skills
