AP Processing Team Leader

Our client is a well-established business with a strong reputation in their sector. They’re investing heavily in their finance function. They’re looking for a high-caliber AP Team Leader to drive performance and enhance the AP processing operation.
The AP Processing team leader will be responsible for:
* Managing a team of 15+ AP Processors – Providing day to day leadership. setting clear objectives and ensuring high levels of engagement and performance.
* Overseeing the end to end AP process, ensuring timely and accurate invoice processing, supplier payments and query resolution.
* Monitoring and reporting on team KPI’s, identifying trends and implementing solutions to drive improvements.
* Driving a culture of continuous improvement, identifying opportunities to streamline processes and implement automation where possible.
* Acting as the first point of contact for escalated queries and collaborating with procurement, finance business partners and other key stakeholders to resolve issues quickly.
* Ensuring compliance with financial controls, internal policies and audit requirements.
What we’re looking for:
* Prove experience in a similar AP Leadership role, ideally within a high-volume shared services or finance team.
* A hands-on, proactive approach with a natural ability to lead, develop and motivate a team.
