Windsor Forest Colleges group is looking for an Animal Management Lecturer to join our Animal Science Department at Berkshire College of Agriculture (BCA) on a full-time, permanent contract. Animal Management Lecturer This Animal Management Lecturer role is full-time working 37 hours per week, reporting directly to the Head of Department.The primary purpose of the role is to provide exceptional teaching and assessment experiences to students, thereby enabling them to maximise their potential.This includes preparing and delivering educational content, assessing student performance, and fostering an environment conducive to learning. Key responsibilities forthe Animal Management Lecturer include the design and implementation of teaching, learning, and assessment strategies.This involves participating in student interviews, enrolment, and induction, preparing detailed schemes of work and lesson plans, and providing continuous assessment and feedback. It should be noted that, to be successful, candidates must have a background in Veterinary Nursing, Animal Biology, and Animal Health, as these are the subject areas they will be delivering. Ideally, you will also have experience working with a wide range of animals, including dogs, cats, small mammals, and exotic mammals/ectotherms.
